There seems to be some debate over whether Rachel is a good player
or not. In this blog I have consistently criticized her game play and
pointed out many ways in which she is far from a good player, yet here
she is in the final five, soon to be final three. How Rachel plays
these last few weeks will determine, in my mind, if she is a good player
or not. I'm ready to eat crow on her game play if she can pull off the
only scenario I see her winning with.
Rachel has always
been a strong competition player, but what has always lacked in the
strategy side of the game. Unfortunately for her, once you get to the
final two competitions cease to matter and it all comes down to votes. I
have also said numerous times in this blog that Big Brother is a
numbers game. You have to make sure with every move you make that you
have the amount of votes needed to stay in the house, but at this point
in the season you need to start counting the other way. It now becomes
important to count the amount of votes you have in the jury house. If
Rachel take time to do this, she has to see that her only chance of
winning is finding a way to get both Jordan and Adam in the jury house.
Counting the possible votes, Daniele, Shelly, Kalia
and Porsche will almost certainly vote against her no matter the
situation, Jeff, Jordan and Adam will vote for her unless she is up
against Jordan, and Brendon is voting for her no matter what. If she is
really a good player, if she really wants to win and not place, then
she has to go up against one of the people she has been talking about
getting rid of. I have very little faith that she can look past her
emotions enough to see this, but there is a small chance she pulls this
thing out.
Here's this week's rankings...
5) Kalia - unless this week's veto competition is a mental one, she's going home.
4)
Adam - I can't believe this guy is still around. He's floating his way
right to the final two. I though it was funny when he said other then
once recently he has been true to one side, when it has been quite
obvious each week he sides with whoever has the power. I will be upset
if he ends up winning!
3) Porsche - counting the votes,
there is only one way she wins and that is if she goes up against Adam
and people don't vote for him because he didn't do anything all season.
Of course, that vote could easily go in his favor because he is better
liked. Either way, the odds of Porsche winning are slim.
2) Rachel - I all ready laid out what she needs to do to win.
1)
Jordan - after a couple of weeks out of the top spot, she returns. If
she makes it to the final two, I don't really see a situation where she
doesn't win. She has the votes almost all in her favor.
