Big Brother 13 : The Last Veto

Here's this week's journal...

1:16 - Rachel could have arranged a Jordan backdoor without putting blood on her hands.  If Rachel is playing this game to win then she needs to get rid of Jordan because she doesn't stand a chance against her.  It's looking like Rachel is the player I thought she was.

1:40 - Has Adam been sand bagging the competitions the whole game?  That's two wins in a row after not even coming close to winning a single one.  It's an interesting strategy because most of the people voting for you to win only saw the poor performances.

5:55 - Man, they make Jordan look super dumb in these confessionals by just having her repeat stuff.

10:43 - Really, Jordan, Porsche doesn't deserve to win?  Why do you deserve it?  You haven't done anything but ride Jeff, Brendon and Rachel's coattails the whole game.  I think it's funny that everyone makes fun of Kalia and Porsche for sleeping all day when they actually fought and won this season while Jordan might as well have been sleeping the whole time.

13:30 - Porsche thinks Adam needs to go up against a newbie to win... that would leave him one vote short.  No, Porsche, he needs the most amount of newbies in the jury house as possible.  His best chance of winning is keeping Rachel around and letting you go.

14:50 - See, Jordan and Porsche on the block.  Maybe Adam isn't as bad as I thought he was.

22:38 -  Porsche wins the last Power of Veto... who deserves to stay now, Jordan?

23:40 - Thank God I only have one more week left of watching Rachel cry over nothing.

27:19 - Since Porsche's only chance of winning is against Adam, it doesn't matter much who she evicts.  I would probably get rid of Rachel since Jordan is no threat to beat either her or Adam in any competition.  Keeping Rachel around puts both you and Adam in danger.

31:10 - Jordan goes home.  This pretty much helps everyone, since none of them would have beaten her in the final, but like I said, I would have kept her around another week.

37:00 - America's Vote... I would give the money to Daniele, but I have a feeling that America will vote for Adam.

   Only two more episodes left!!

Big Brother 13 : Rachel Might Actually Win This

There seems to be some debate over whether Rachel is a good player or not.  In this blog I have consistently criticized her game play and pointed out many ways in which she is far from a good player, yet here she is in the final five, soon to be final three.  How Rachel plays these last few weeks will determine, in my mind, if she is a good player or not.  I'm ready to eat crow on her game play if she can pull off the only scenario I see her winning with.
Rachel has always been a strong competition player, but what has always lacked in the strategy side of the game.  Unfortunately for her, once you get to the final two competitions cease to matter and it all comes down to votes.  I have also said numerous times in this blog that Big Brother is a numbers game.  You have to make sure with every move you make that you have the amount of votes needed to stay in the house, but at this point in the season you need to start counting the other way.  It now becomes important to count the amount of votes you have in the jury house.  If Rachel take time to do this, she has to see that her only chance of winning is finding a way to get both Jordan and Adam in the jury house.  Counting the possible votes, Daniele, Shelly, Kalia and Porsche will almost certainly vote against her no matter the situation, Jeff, Jordan and Adam will vote for her unless she is up against Jordan, and Brendon is voting for her no matter what.  If she is really a good player, if she really wants to win and not place, then she has to go up against one of the people she has been talking about getting rid of.  I have very little faith that she can look past her emotions enough to see this, but there is a small chance she pulls this thing out.
     Here's this week's rankings...

5) Kalia - unless this week's veto competition is a mental one, she's going home.

4) Adam - I can't believe this guy is still around.  He's floating his way right to the final two.  I though it was funny when he said other then once recently he has been true to one side, when it has been quite obvious each week he sides with whoever has the power.  I will be upset if he ends up winning!

3) Porsche - counting the votes, there is only one way she wins and that is if she goes up against Adam and people don't vote for him because he didn't do anything all season.  Of course, that vote could easily go in his favor because he is better liked.  Either way, the odds of Porsche winning are slim.

2) Rachel - I all ready laid out what she needs to do to win.

1) Jordan - after a couple of weeks out of the top spot, she returns.  If she makes it to the final two, I don't really see a situation where she doesn't win.  She has the votes almost all in her favor.

Big Brother 13 : Down To the Nitty Gritty

Here's this week's eviction journal...

1:32 - Last episode Porsche and Kalia kept talking about how Porsche shouldn't have opened Pandora's Box.  In Big Brother, my theory is always take the sure thing.  There is no reason Porsche should regret taking the money because nobody was going to guarantee her money if she didn't.  Now, at the very least, she walks away with $5 grand.  That's a lot better then nothing!

2:18 - I'm really starting to not like Shelly's game play.  This whole promise to only work towards Jordan and Rachel making the final two if kept in the house is a scumbag play as far as I am concerned.  Especially coming from someone who claimed not to lie in a confessional earlier this season.

2:40 - Yes!  I love the jury house segments.  The people's reactions to other's game play is usually entertaining.

3:20 - "Most tumultuous week in Big Brother, ever."  Exaggerate much, Julie?  I hate to break it to you, but this was far from the most tumultuous week in Big Brother history.

5:38 - Another thing I hate about Rachel... she thinks she's funny, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't have a funny bone in her body.  She's just annoying!

10:00 - I can't believe these two would think about keeping Shelly.  There's always the thought that she would be the perfect person to go up against in the final two because nobody would vote for her, but I think the same goes for Adam and you know you can trust him.  Shelly has proven that she will stab you in the back, she needs to go.

10:25 - Seriously, can Shelly get any more despicable?  Take my fake ring as proof of my word?  Really, she needs to go!

12:20 - Just because Shelly is playing the game doesn't mean she isn't a floater.  To me a floater is someone who just backs whatever side is in power and that is exactly what Shelly has done all game long.  She may do a lot of game play and a lot of talking, but in the end she's the queen of the floaters.

21:13 - Can we stop with this "shocker" in a high pitched voice crap already.  I get that it's kind of Daniele's catch phrase and the rest of the house picked it up, but it's super annoying and way over used.

23:50 - Wow, can't believe Jeff threw away the clown shoe!  He was that close to still being in the game.  Now he has nobody to blame but himself.

24:50 - It's funny how Daniele is sitting on the couch laughing, while the other two are all serious, shooting her looks.  Just shows how to Daniele this is just a fun game, while the other two take it much to personal.  Then again, she's won once and the other two haven't.

31:30 - Bye, bye, Shelly.  Smart move by  the girls to get rid of her.  There was no way you could trust her after what we saw her do.

37:40 - Ok, two things about Shelly's interview... 1) she acted like she turned on Jeff and Jordan when she voted out Jeff, but the truth is she turned the week before when she teamed up with Daniele and tried to keep her in the house.  2) All this talk about how turning on her alliance was a stupid move, but no talk about the fact that it would have worked out fine if Porsche hadn't opened Pandora's Box.  If Porsche hadn't taken the money, which again, taking the money was the right move, then Shelly would still be in the house and we'd be talking about how good her move was!

40:03 - A Physical Speed competition... there is no way Rachel doesn't win HOH this week.  I wonder if they plan the order of all these competitions before the season starts or if they manipulate the winners by choosing week to week.  I break the competitions into four categories, Physical Speed, which is races, Physical Endurance, which is when you stand or dangle on something, Skilled, which is throwing or hitting or manipulating things, and Mental, which is trivia and guessing games.  If this was a Mental or Skilled competition, someone else would have had a chance, but nobody that is left is going to beat Rachel in either Physical competition.  Looks like Kalia or Porsche is going home this week.
